GARRICK BATTEN has communicated with farmers, the agricultural industry and rural people through articles, pamphlets, conference papers, field days, newspaper columns, TV, video, radio and displays. That is based on his lifetime experiences of working with rural communities and farmers, as farm management adviser, consultant, and MAF Regional manager of advisory and technical services. Plus his own commercial livestock and horticultural farming and farm management activities over 40 years.
